It is the energetic representation in the physical plane of my being, it is my mirror and tells about my healing journey. It is me, in the sacred space of my heart, healed from the wounds of the past, witnessing the 13 stones of power that are inside it. There are 3 stones for each cardinal direction and the 13th stone, called the lineage stone, which was given to me by Chris Waters at the end of the first cycle of the Medicine Wheel, represents my alignment with a sacred council of Q’ero healers, connected in spirit with all the Mesa bearers from all over the world with whom I meet every Saturday evening, through the opening of the Mesa and through the common dream and vision that unites us.
All the stones in my Mesa first knew my wounds, my traumas. I gave them my pain, then during the course of the Medicine Wheel, all these were transformed into gifts, gifts that are behind every suffering, every wound, now metamorphosed into healing stones, Kuya stones, which hold the magic and transforming power of healing.
My mesa is my support for my own healing, for the healing of those I accompany on their journey. I carry it with me wherever I go and hug it to my chest whenever I miss myself.
The 13 stones are supported and embraced by two woven covers, a small one that comes in direct contact with the Kuya stones and a large one that supports them all in a warm embrace. A bond is wrapped around the mesa holding it all together. My mesa is magic, healing, love, harmony, balance, in contact with the source of this powerful and invisible medicine at the same time.
