Freeing the Shadow Self Masterclass
The Shadow is the hidden side of our psyches, with both its positive and negative aspects. It’s the part of us that has been banished, mostly lives in the dark, and doesn’t come out much, except when we least expect it, and mostly when we are least able to control it!! Then we can feel as if something else has taken over our lives, someone else has taken over the steering wheel and is now driving our bus… and we can’t be sure where it will end up!!
Our Shadow Self can wreak havoc with our health, our relationships, with our careers and keep us stuck in old patterns of behaviour that seem inappropriate and yet hard to change.
Scared and pushed out of sight, where we imagine that no one can see it, our shadow is waiting to be honoured, set free, brought into the light where it can truly serve us, rather than keep us small, hidden and protected or defended from our true identity.
It takes a lot of energy to keep our Shadow Self hidden, that’s how we end up with chronic fatigue/auto immune diseases and other debilitating illnesses. If we don’t hide it within and harm ourselves, we will most certainly give it to someone else to hold for us… just so we can see it… and mostly we find that those are the people who push our buttons and drive us crazy! Either way, this is what creates conflict in our lives, and is a BIG distraction from what we are here to do.
We want to get to know all these orphaned parts of ourselves so that we can hold our power lightly in the world. The way to world peace is through acceptance of our differences – if we can accept the parts of us that we have come to fear, mistrust or hate, then we can find peace in our hearts and we will be a true and lasting force for change in the world. It’s an opportunity to reach out beyond our limitations and embrace fully the potential that lives within each of us.
An experiential, lively and powerful weekend where we dive together into our shadows help them to find a place in our lives, and return with nuggets of gold: our gold. We will bring home our light and release our uniqueness, our creativity, our imagination, and our courage onto the waiting world.

The following costs are just for the masterclass itself. See accommodation costs in the section below.
Non-refundable deposit: £100 (this is the payment you make via Eventbrite).
Early Bird: An additional payment of £250 IF made before the end of September 2nd OR you have already attended the Shadow Masterclass.
Full price: an additional payment of £295 (from 10 September).
About the Venue
Floris Hotel, National Road 1A, No. 17, code 107356, Cheia, Prahova. Here, in a picturesque area, we have all the conditions for conducting the course: 33 double rooms and 2 apartments, a lecture hall, a restaurant, a place for making sacred fires and plenty of space in nature.
Accommodation Costs and Meal Information
- Standard double room with breakfast included – 120 lei / night
- Double room in single mode with breakfast included – 190 lei / night
- Apartment (for 3-4 people) – 350 lei / night (only 2 apartments available) – one bedroom, one living room with sofa and one bathroom
- Lunch buffet – 70 lei / day
- Dinner buffet – 65 lei / day
There are 3 types of menu (your choice): a) lacto-ovo; b) lacto-ovo with fish; c) with meat. The buffet offers everyone a variant according to their choice. Each person chooses their menu on the registration form and keeps it for the duration of the course. The type of menu can be changed during the course by requesting the organizer and will take effect from the following day.
The meal options are: only lunch or only dinner or lunch+dinner (breakfast is included in the room price).
Accommodation and meal costs will be paid at the hotel reception, only in RON, cash, or with a credit card or Vacation Card, and invoices for accommodation and meals can be requested at the hotel reception. If you want to share the double room with another person, there is the possibility to enter the name of that person in the form (who is of course also registered) or we will make you a proposal based on the existence of a similar request.
In the registration form, you will also mention your accommodation and meal preferences.
